Rider Levett Bucknall strengthens KSA Market position

Rider Levett Bucknall has been appointed cost consultants to the Knowledge Economic City (KEC) in Medina strengthening its presence and profile in Saudi Arabia With an initial three year appointment on the US$8billion scheme.

The firm, which is exhibiting at Cityscape Jeddah for the third year in succession,was appointed by KEC following a six month tender process.  

More than 20,000 jobs and accommodation for about 150,000 people will be created by the project which is expected to bring about 10 billion Riyals a year into the region once it is completed by 2020.

Rider Levett Bucknall is one of a select group of consultants with a licence to trade within KSA. The firm has worked in Saudi Arabia for the last 30 years, operating both within the kingdom and with dedicated teams in its network of global offices.

Rider Levett Bucknall is currently working on a number of projects in the Kingdom  They include Contract Administration services on King Abdullah Financial District and  the new Proton Therapy and Cancer and Neurological science facilities at King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh.  It is playing a key role on the Burj Rafal development in Riyadh, a 64 storey landmark tower including a Kempinski hotel, and continues its long term relationship with BAE Systems in the Kingdom.

Rider Levett Bucknall has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat.  In Saudi it is providing a mixture of services, including project management and supervision.
